Ward was born in MonroeLouisiana on 14 April1976. Monroe Christian School served as her Christian elementary education. Ward was a student at Ouachita Parish High School to complete her secondary schooling. She then moved to River Oaks High School the summer after her senior year. After her graduation, Ward briefly studied at Northeast Louisiana University. Ward dropped out at thirteen and relocated to New York so that she could begin modeling. She decided to pursue acting a few years later. The first time she appeared on stage was in an uncredited part in 1970's soap opera All My Children, and later was cast in a teen drama on NBC Prime-Time Malibu Shores. The soap for daytime Sunset Beach cast Ward as the female Meg Cummings in late 1996. In 1999 she started a film career and starred in The In Crowd as psychotic Brittany Foster. The film was not a huge hit in the theaters however, it was a huge success with home-video and cable. Ward was on screen in Shallow Hal in the year after, where she was a supporting character. The other roles she has played include several direct-to DVD films as well as guest roles in TV series, such as Friends. She was a main cast member of ABC Family's drama show Make It or Break It during the initial two seasons in 2009. The year 2009 was the time she got the part Chloe Kmet as the mother of a teenage gymna. Her personal life was a bit more complicated. got married to director David C. Robinson and was blessed with a son named Cameron and David.
